1. ALL ONIX APPS

Quickly identify tagged equipment with new icons and display fields

In Onix Work, Onix Worker, Onix Inspect, and Onix Tool Store, you can easily spot equipment which have been tagged through new icons and display fields - “Tagged equipment” and “Tag type”. The system will automatically classify the tagged equipment as you link tags, update Onix ID, run Open API, or generate QR code reports. Moreover, you can use filters to quickly identify the tagged equipment by their tag types.

Introduce global ID as the unified equipment identifier

Expanding beyond RFID to include QR codes and other technologies, global ID promotes versatility and consistency in equipment identification within Onix system. As a result, the adoption of global ID as the unified identifier will replace the term “EPC” across the user interface.

2. ONIX WORK

[NEW] Interact with the underlay equipment and job lists without closing the current item :fire:

When using the Equipment or Jobs module, you can open an item’s detail and seamlessly select other items in the list at the same time. This eliminates an extra click to close the current equipment or job detail, streamlining navigation and enhancing workflow efficiency for an improved user experience.

[ENHANCED] Quick ways to close panels and save changes :fire:

Save clicks and optimize productivity with 2 new ways to save changes and close any panels, such as details of a user account, job or equipment. As the alternative to the Save button, use the Ctrl + S keyboard shortcut to apply the changes instantly. On the other hand, to close any detail panel, simply click on the gray overlay outside or use ESC keyboard button.

[ENHANCED] Filter for exact matches of equipment using double quotes :fire:

In Onix Work, Onix Worker and Onix Inspect, you can use the double quotes “ “ in filters to find exact matches of equipment. This enhancement applies to both the advanced filters and default filters within your own view, providing more focused and accurate results.

[ENHANCED] Equipment - Create equipment with suggested “Company” and “Location” values

After using advanced filters to find equipment owned by a specific company and location, creating equipment will automatically fill in the new item’s “Company” and “Location” fields. Similarly, if default filters for company and/or location are defined in the current list view, they will be suggested. This streamlined process simplifies equipment registration, saving time, and ensuring accuracy.

[ENHANCED] Equipment - New standard view: “My checked out equipment”

In the Equipment module, the “My checked out equipment” view displays a list of all items currently checked out by you. To access this view, simply click on the current view’s name next to the search box and choose it from the “Standard views” section.

[ENHANCED] Enhancements in Companies module

  • Create your own views with custom filters, grouping and sorting options. This functionality enables tailoring the company list to your specific needs, enhancing efficiency in handling partner companies.

  • Filter, group and sort terminated member companies in the blink of an eye using the “Active status” display field. Enjoy a clear and organized view of company data with a click.

  • Quickly remove connections to other member companies using the “Remove connection” button within every “View connection details” panel. With the ability to remove 1- or 2-sided connection at once, this improvement allows you to adjust outdated connections more quickly and easily.

[ENHANCED] Orders - Better select company in “Customer” and “Supplier” fields

Elevate your experience and efficiency handling orders with our latest improvements, enabling you to:

  • Access detailed information of customer and supplier companies upfront during company selection.
  • Within the order’s Main info section, create new non-member companies directly from the Supplier field.

[ENHANCED] Orders - Prevent processing order to a terminated member company

From this release, data accuracy and integrity will be ensured as orders to terminated member companies will be restrained from processing. Since these companies do not use Onix Work anymore, you cannot select them as an order’s customer or supplier. Even when a terminated member company has already been selected, during order validation, you will ultimately get a warning message and be forced to select another company.

[ENHANCED] Issues - Add “Comment” and “Solution” display fields to issue list

Enjoy enhanced convenience and data clarity by viewing “Comment” and “Solution” without opening every issue has become possible! To add or remove these display fields from the issue list, you should select fields to display in your own custom views.

[ENHANCED] Settings - Show “Mobile”, “Location” and “Department” in user list

The user list now shows “Mobile”, “Location” and “Department” display fields, providing you with comprehensive and easy access to vital user information at a glance.

[ENHANCED] New sub-privilege: “Check out/in equipment (Onix Worker)”

Coupled with Onix Worker’s new “Check out and check in equipment” feature is an additional sub-privilege under the Equipment section, namely “Check out/in equipment (Onix Worker)”. This sub-privilege follows the main privilege’s access level and is OFF by default. To enable equipment checkout from Onix Worker, simply turn on this sub-privilege for relevant roles.
