How to use Onix Account

Onix Account helps you to work with multiple organizations & multiple Onix Express with just one account. You only have to log in one time, then you can access all the Onix applications. Moreover, you can manage your account information such as your name, profile picture, signature, password, and many more IN ONE PLACE. Let's find out!

1. CREATE AN ACCOUNT

  • Go to onixwork.com.
    • If you are not an Onix user, choose Create an account.
  • Enter your work email address.
  • Check your mailbox for an email titled Welcome to Onix Work.
  • Click on the link Click here to create your account in that email.
  • Onix Account dialog will appear → Fill in your information.
  • Click Continue after completing the form. Now your account is ready to use.

2. ONIX ACCOUNT OVERVIEW

2.1. Quick access to your home organization

  • Access to your home organization’s applications will be shown here
  • License and role are the factors that decide your access to Onix applications
  • Depending on the license assigned or the role assigned, you can access different Onix applications
  • Those Onix applications which you have access to will be shown here
  • You can click on the icons to quickly use those Onix applications

2.2. Quick access to your supplier’s Onix Express

  • You can only access Onix Express by using the link provided by your suppliers or inspectors.
  • If you are an Express user and don’t have access to any organization, you will see this panel:

  • To go directly to the supplier’s website, click Website and look for the link to access their Onix Express
    • If the Website not found message pops up, it means that the supplier has not set up the link to their website yet
      • The supplier admins can do this in their Onix Work

3. EDIT YOUR INFORMATION

3.1. Change general information

Edit your name, email, mobile phone, and preferred language: Your info → Edit profile info

3.2. Change your profile picture

  • Click on the round shape or Add a photo button
  • Choose your photo
  • Fit your photo into the lightbox (a square area with brighter color), use the bar below to zoom in or zoom out
  • You can also remove the current one and add another photo
  • After all, click Save to apply your picture

3.3. Change signature

  • Click on the rectangle shape or Add a signature button
  • Choose your signature
  • Fit your photo into the lightbox (a rectangle area with brighter color), use the bar below to zoom in or zoom out
  • You can also remove the current and add another signature
  • After all, click Save to apply your signature

3.4. Change password

  • Click this button image and the message will appear

  • An email with the titled “Reset your Onix Work password” will be sent to your mailbox
  • Click on the link “Reset the password” in that email
  • Fill in your new password, confirm it, and give it a hint so that you will not forget it in the future
  • Click Continue to change your password

4.MANAGE YOUR ORGANIZATIONS

  • See all the organizations that you joined in and became their users

  • You can set an organization and make it your home organization

    • What is a home organization? That is the organization that will be first-appeared every time you use Onix Work
  • Or you can terminate your user in an organization by hitting the Leave button. No more access to it.

  • Open invitations:

    • Some of your organizations will trust your email domain (the part comes behind @ in your email.
    • They can let you decide to join in their organization and become a user of it
    • Simply click Create user → You will then have access to that organization

5. MANAGE YOUR ONIX EXPRESS

  • Onix Account also lets you manage your Onix Express

    • Onix Express is used by equipment suppliers and inspectors in order to distribute equipment documentation to customers who are not members of Onix Work
    • Users of Onix Express don’t have the full features of Onix Work, only for distributing documents
  • You can only access Onix Express using your supplier links.

  • On this page, you can see all the Onix Express you joined and became their users.

  • You can terminate your user in Onix Express by hitting the Leave button. No more access to it.

  • Open invitations:

    • Some of your organizations will trust your email domain (the part comes behind @ in your email.
    • They can let you decide to join their Onix Express and become a user of it
    • Simply click Create user → You will then have access to that Onix Express and get the document of the equipment owned by that Express company

6. WHEN YOU FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD

In case you forgot your password, retrieve it by:

  • Go to onixwork.com
  • Enter your email and click Get help logging in
  • A dialog will appear, enter your email and click Continue
  • An email with the subject “Reset your Onix Work password” will be sent to your mailbox
  • Click on the link “Reset the password” in that email to recover your password
    • Fill in your new password, confirm it, and give it a hint so that you will not forget it in the future
    • Click Continue to change your password
