WHAT IS VIEWING EQUIPMENT ANONYMOUSLY?

Onix Work offers you some links (URLs) which you can use to access your equipment list and their details.

• These links (URLs) are:
  • Links to identify your EXACT equipment will be in these formats:
    • http://epc.onixwork.com/pqr/SAMPLE_LINK
    • http://epc.onixwork.com/epc/SAMPLE_LINK
    • http://epc.onixwork.com/bco/SAMPLE_LINK
  • Link to show those equipment that belong to a LOCATION:
    • http://epc.onixwork.com/loc/SAMPLE_LINK
  • Link to show those equipment that belong to an AREA:
    • http://epc.onixwork.com/ara/SAMPLE_LINK
  • Link to show those equipment that belong to a DOCUMENT:
    • http://epc.onixwork.com/doc/SAMPLE_LINK
  • Link to show those equipment that belong to a JOB:
    • http://epc.onixwork.com/job/SAMPLE_LINK

ANYONE can use these links to access the equipment list (no need to sign in), but they cannot take any action with your equipment

Some companies attach these links to their QR codes for more convenient access to their equipment list
Moreover, QRs generated from the Report function of the Equipment module will also have these links.

ANYONE can scan the QRs with their camera to view the equipment list and their info

In case you or your customers want to limit this ability and ensure the privacy, we offer you a way to prevent others from viewing your company’s and your Express companies’ equipment anonymously

Follow the instruction below to prevent others from viewing your company’s equipment anonymously

• Go to Onix Work → Settings
• Select System setup
• Scroll down to find Prevent viewing my equipment anonymously and enable it

Follow the instruction below to prevent others from viewing your Express companies’ equipment anonymously

• Go to Onix Work → Companies
• Find the Express company that you want to prevent others from viewing its equipment anonymously
• Select Settings
• Scroll down to find Prevent viewing the equipment owned by this company anonymously and enable it

When you try to access the links or QRs to view a company’s equipment anonymously, and this company is preventing you to do that, the result will be No hits
