Understand how equipment volume is calculated

In Onix, each member company has a limit on the number of equipment that it can create. This limit is based on the company’s equipment volume. Find out how your company’s equipment volume is counted below.

What counts towards equipment volume?

The equipment volume counts:

  • Active and inactive equipment without main/sub relationship;
  • Active and inactive main equipment.

This calculation disregards the equipment class. This means if an equipment meets one of the above 2 requirements, it’s counted towards the equipment volume regardless of its equipment class being “Unique”, “Part”, “Consumable” or “Stock goods”.

What does not count towards equipment volume?

The equipment volume:

  • Sub equipment;
  • Scrapped or missing equipment.

If you’re interested in increasing your company’s limit of equipment limit, kindly reach out to your Customer Success Manager or contact Onix Support.
