  • Time-saving: No need to start and stop scanning multiple times for different batches.
  • Simplified workflow: Easily see and decide what to do next with your failed scans

1. Scan equipment to your order or order lines

1.1. Start scanning

  • In the order list, select your order or order line → Tap Scan to open the Scan panel.

In the Scan panel, tap Order details to expand the section and view the details.

When you start scanning, the numbers in the Picked column are displayed in 2 colors corresponding to the scan results:

  • Yellow: Picking, the order (or order line) is not fully picked yet
  • Green: The order (or order line) is full

You will hear different sounds when you successfully pick equipment or have a failed scan.
Failed scans will be noted down in the Failed scans section. You can decide what to do next with them

Important note:
When you add equipment to a full order, you will receive a warning message.

1.2. Actions with failed scans

Tap on the Failed scans section to open the List of failed scans. There are 2 tabs in this panel:

  • Need action: You must decide how to deal with these failed scans. Read this article further for detailed instructions.
  • No action needed: These failed scans can be ignored. For example: the failed equipment has already been picked to another order line within the same order.

Failed scans: Need action

Important note:
You can only take action with the failed scans in the Need action tab when your order is not full.

Failed scans in the Need action tab fall under one of these reasons:

Reason of failed scan Explanation Action
Not matched with any order line The equipment is registered in Onix Work already but its information is not matched with any order line in your order Select the order line for this failed scan
Lack of required information The equipment is not filled with enough mandatory information, which is specified in the product rules Open the order line and complete all required fields for the equipment
Not found any equipment with this tag The equipment is not registered in Onix Work Select the order line for this failed scan. This equipment will then be registered in Onix Work and follow the product information of the order line.

2. Link tag to equipment in the order line

To tag every piece of equipment when you pick items for any order line:

  • Open the order line.
  • In the Numbering screen, select an equipment → Tap Link tag.
  • Scan the equipment tag → The selected equipment is linked with that tag immediately.
