  • In this release, with Onix Inspect, you can add multiple equipment to a Quick Inspection in only one scanning session
  • Set status for all equipment after scanning
  • Easily create new equipment with a Not Found tag
  • You can now create a Quick Inspection job in the Job module of Onix Inspect

GLOSSARIES

FOUND TAG

  • A tag that has already linked to an equipment (using EPC)
  • Equipment are found via scanning these tags
  • You can set the status for your found equipment when the scan is completed

NOT FOUND TAG

  • A tag that has NOT linked to any equipment, that is why Onix Inspect cannot find the equipment
  • You can create new equipment with a Not found tag

INVALID TAG

  • A tag that has an invalid EPC format
  • Tags that linked to sub-equipment are also considered as Invalid tags

PRIVILEGES NEEDED

  • You need Job privilege to add, edit, or delete jobs on Onix Inspect
  • You need Equipment privilege to add or edit your equipment

CONTINUOUS SCANNING IS NOW APPLIED FOR QUICK INSPECTION JOBS

You can create a Quick Inspection job and use continuous scanning to add multiple equipment to that job by

Swipe left on the equipment that you want to add Quick Inspection job in your Equipment module

  • A Quick Inspection will be created
  • Tap on the Equipment section
  • Tap on the + button and choose the Scan mode

Tap on the + button in your equipment details

  • Go to your equipment details page
  • Tap on the + button to add a Quick Inspection job
  • Tap on the Equipment section
  • Tap on the + button and choose the Scan mode

Add a Quick Inspection in the Jobs section in your equipment details

  • Go to your equipment details page
  • Tap on the Jobs section
  • Tap on the + button to add a Quick Inspection job
  • Tap on the Equipment section
  • Tap on the + button and choose the Scan mode

Tap on the + button in your Jobs module

  • Go to your Jobs module
  • Tap on the + button to add a Quick Inspection job
  • Tap on the Equipment section
  • Tap on the + button and choose the Scan mode
  • IMPORTANT NOTES: This will create an empty job if there is no equipment added, empty jobs will not be uploaded.

HOW TO DO THE SCANNING

A continuous scanning panel will show up and let you scan your tags to find your equipment

SCAN MODES

  • Scan with your scanner
    • You can connect and bring your scanner around, then continuously scan for your equipment
  • Scan QR codes with your device camera
    • Open your camera and scan your QR code, you will have to scan it one by one
  • Scan NFC tags with your device sensor
    • Open your device’s NFC scanner by tapping the Scan NFC tag button to scan NFC tags, you will have to scan it one by one

FOUND TAGS

  • Found tags are tags that have already linked to an equipment (using EPC).
  • The Found section shows how many equipment are found via scanning these tags
  • You can set the status for your found equipment when the scan is completed

NOT FOUND TAGS

  • Not found tags are tag that has NOT linked to any equipment, that is why Onix Inspect cannot find the equipment and listed these tags as not found
  • The Not found section shows how many tags are not found, and they will be listed in the List of not found tag
  • You can create a new equipment with a Not found tag by clicking on the EPC in the List of not found tag
    • Once the equipment is created for a not found tag, it will be counted as found and will be added to the job as well
    • IMPORTANT NOTES: You need Equipment privilege to add or edit a new equipment from the not found tag

INVALID TAGS

  • Invalid tags are tags that have an invalid EPC format
  • Tags that linked to sub-equipment are also considered as Invalid tags
  • You cannot do anything with these Invalid tags

FINISH YOUR SCAN

  • You can set the status for your found equipment to finish your scan
  • There are two statuses:
    • OK - NO COMMENTS
    • NC - NON-CONFORMITY
  • You can change your equipment status after finishing by tapping on each equipment status
