WHY DO WE NEED A NEW MAP FEATURE
- New and modern user interface
- Manage your equipment positions
- Easily set a position for your equipment on the map
- You can set or delete the location of multiple equipment at a time
- Set your equipment position from active to inactive
PRIVILEGES NEEDED
- You will need Map and Position privilege to work with your equipment maps and positions
HOW TO WORK WITH MAPS
OPEN MAPS FROM YOUR EQUIPMENT DETAILS
- Click on one of your equipment to see your equipment details
- Select Maps in your toolbar
VIEW YOUR EQUIPMENT POSITIONS
- Your equipment positions will be listed and showed up in the map
- Each of the equipment will have ONE active position but may have many inactive positions

ACTIVE position will be shown in a green icon

INACTIVE position will be shown in a grey icon

SET YOUR EQUIPMENT POSITIONS ON THE MAP
- Click on the Set position from map button to set your equipment position in the map
- IMPORTANT NOTES: Once you set a new position, the newly-added position will be marked as ACTIVE, and your equipment current position will be marked as INACTIVE
- There are two ways to set a position:
- Search for a position in the left-corner search box
- Click directly for the position on the map and select Set position
DELETE YOUR EQUIPMENT POSITIONS FROM THE MAP
- You can delete an equipment position by selecting that position and clicking Delete
- IMPORTANT NOTES: Once you delete a position, the previous position of your equipment will be marked as ACTIVE.
MAPS WITH MULTIPLE EQUIPMENT
VIEW POSITIONS OF YOUR MULTIPLE EQUIPMENT ON THE MAP
- Select multiple of your equipment
- Click Maps on the ribbon (toolbar)
- ONLY ACTIVE POSITIONS of those equipments will be shown
SET POSITION FOR YOUR MULTIPLE EQUIPMENT
- Click on Set position from map to set your equipment position in the map
- IMPORTANT NOTES: Once you set a new position, the newly-added position will be marked as ACTIVE, and your equipment current position will be marked as INACTIVE
