Today the map feature is very restricted in it practical use - for each item it is necessary to manually drop a pin on the map to mark its location. With 1000’s of assets in the database and assets which frequently change location, the map function is not practical. Suggestion is to link the map feature to the location. Add a field to the location page, to allow a GPS reference to be added. When an asset is assigned to a location, the map will display the location according to the assigned GPS reference.
Please vote for this idea if you agree so that we can prioritize it.
This is a good product idea, but will not be prioritized in upcoming releases yet. We will keep this idea in mind and update its progress in new posts under this topic.
Some workarounds that we’d like to recommend:

If you need to get the equipment’s location updated automatically, you can integrate ABAX with Onix Work and assign a unique ABAX Serial number to each equipment.

If you’re looking for a way to edit the location more quickly, you can select multiple equipment and edit their Map at one time. We hope it helps; if not, we would love to hear more suggestions from you.
