Today it is possible to enter a note on equipments in the administration section. This should rather have been related to issues
The note concept is older and not as flexible as issues. There are no link between notes and issues. For follow up actions it is much better to use issues. Then you can assign owner, pictures, description and due date. To use issues from Tool Store you must open the equipment from the administration module. Our plan is to build more functionality around isses. Issues should be available for normal users (operators) also in Tool Store. But on the other hand - operators can add issues from Onix Worker.
We’re considering, but have not yet decided, to retire Notes. We need input from users on this.
The Notes feature has been retired in the Summer 2 Release 2023.
