Since the Spring 2 Release 2023 , Onix Tool Store has supported the Zebra RFD90 scanner. This scanner can read both QR codes and RFID tags, which means users can read Onix IDs and employee IDs with high speed and accuracy.
1. INITIAL SETUP
To deploy and optimize this powerful scanner, you must first install the 123RFID Desktop application.
1.1. Install 123RFID Desktop
- Go to 123RFID Desktop Downloads and download the latest version —> a .zip file will be downloaded.
- Extract the .zip file —> open the .exe file and set up following the app’s instructions.
1.2. Connect and configure in 123RFID Desktop
- Connect the scanner with your device.
- Open the app, in the Connect module, click on Find Readers —> choose your scanner.
- In the Configure module, configure your scanner settings in the General and Modify Data tabs.
- Disconnect the scanner in 123RFID Desktop —> open Onix Tool Store and connect the scanner to use.
2. CONNECT THE ZEBRA RFD90 SCANNER WITH ONIX TOOL STORE
You can only configure and test scanners in the Served mode.
- Tap on the hamburger icon on the top left → Settings:
- Scanner configuration: Connect or disconnect scanners and adjust their sensitivity.
- Test scanner: Scan to ensure your scanner is working properly.
