We use Tool store as our primary source for adding items to a worker.
The new Onix tool store has, unfortunately for us been created for unmanned tool stores. Close to every feature we appreciated with the old one is gone.
Our needs for ONIX Tool Store.
Have the same abilities as the previous version…
The ability to see what a person has collected from the tool store.
(A search for a tool we KNOW is not in the tool store has the name of the borrower, date lent out, and expected return date.)
The ability to check in and out tools at the same time.
(Someone comes by and wants to return 2 Milwaukee batteries, and wants 2 new ones.)
What ever menu you see who’s account we are on AND witch sub-menu we are in. (It always shows the name of the worker, Check in/Check out etc in the top of the account.
A worker should be notified, by mail about what has been written on, and returned from their name. And preferably a frequent update by e-mail on what they have on their name.
A worker gets a notification about the return of a tool. Either by text message or E-mail. Say someone else gives back something that is borrowed, the original “owner” is notified.

1) The ability to see what a person has collected from the tool store
In the new Tool Store, we’re having the view “Checked out equipment by logged in user”. However, we believe it’s not enough for your needs.
So we will find out ways to let you navigate to your target equipment easier.
2)The ability to check in and out tools at the same time
That’s a great idea and we really appreciate this. We believe this one will bring more value to our customers.
Same with point 1, we will consider to make it come true.

This is used to an idea from us to simplify the check in/ out processes. But after you feedback, we believe we need to find a way to make it be clearer.

We have not been sure on your idea, could you please let us know more about this idea?

If the idea is about notification of overdue equipment (that needs to be returned) → We can confidently say that: In the new Onix Tool Store, we can configure it on Onix Work/ Settings and retrieve the notification as same as the old Onix Tool Store.
Out of curiosity, has it been discussed on what the possibilities are on enhansing the functionality for manned Tool Store? Im specifically talking about Point 1 & 2 from customer.

I am not able to confirm each point in the list, but our focus is on improving the served mode and to deliver functionality that has been missed by our users ever since we introduced the new Tool Store
