Today you can create items in the equipment module using only a batch number to identify them. If batch number is used, it is not compulsory to have a serial number or Owners ID number. In effect, you create multiple items with the same batch number, which is the only identification needed. However, if you try to export a QR code for the batch, Onix will export multiple different QR codes - in other words, Onix has serialised the items in the background. As there is no practical way to physically identify an individual item (only the batch number is marked on the item), it seems pointless to assign a unique QR. I would like to suggest a feature that allows a single QR code to be assigned to all members of the batch, so that the entire batch can always be connected to the batch certificate etc.

Hi @richard.stannard cc: @fga,
Thank you for your product idea which provides us with more valuable insight into how our users use Onix Work features
I believe this idea is a good one and will be in our product backlogs.
To make it clearer and accurate with your needs, I would like to clarify some points:
- Besides the Batch number, do you have any suggestions for other fields? such as: Control category, Type, Model, Owner’s equip. ID, …?
- What is the average number of equipment that should be included in only one QR code?
- The result when users scan the QR code is all equipment which is having that batch number will be shown in the list (Onix Worker), please confirm whether it matches your need.
