Create an Onix Tag user with Onix Account

In this Autumn Release 2022, we introduced Onix Account, which helps you to access Onix applications with one account and enables you to manage your personal information, password, picture, and signature in one place.

Onix Account will change the experience for those who want to create Onix Tag users themselves.
Let’s see the instruction below!

HOW TO CREATE AN ONIX TAG USER FOR YOURSELF

  1. Access Onix Tag using tag.onixwork.com or download the Onix Tag application for Windows HERE

  2. Below is the difference in the interface for Onix Tag:

  1. Click on Create an account and enter your work email (the email that you are using in your company)

  1. Check your mailbox and look for an email with the title “Welcome to Onix Work” and click on the link “Click here to activate your user” inside your email

  1. The link will direct you to your Onix Account, you have to fill in all the information and click on Continue to create your user

  1. Click Back to login and you will be redirected to onixwork.com. Use your email and password to log in.

  2. Once you log in successfully, you will see your Onix Account with the Onix Tag icon as below:

  3. Click on the Onix Tag icon to access your Onix Tag.

WHY DO YOU MEET THESE MESSAGES?

THIS HAPPENS WHEN

  • You have no access to any organization. You have not become a user of any organization
    • You will become a user when your account has the access to an organization together with a license and a role assign
    • WHAT TO DO: Contact the administrator of your organization and ask for a user
  • Your account stored in the Onix Work of your organization as a contact
    • Contact is an asset of an organization, which contains a person information including email, password, name, phone number, picture, signature, and many more
    • Contact is not a user, and not assigned to any license and role
    • WHAT TO DO: Contact the administrator of your organization and ask them to set you as an Active user instead of Contact

THIS HAPPENS WHEN

  • Your account was listed in your organization, however, you have no license assigned
    • WHAT TO DO: Contact the administrator of your organization and ask them to assign you a license so that you can become a user
  • You became a user but your role is not allowing you to access Onix Tag
    • Your role doesn’t have the privilege to access Onix Tag
      • Privileges give users the permission to perform actions, read information, or see nothing at all on a specific module or function
      • Role is a group of defined privileges
    • WHAT TO DO: Contact the administrator of your organization and ask them to reassign your role or give you the privilege to access Onix Tag
